Con la rubrica Sunday Tips, ho intenzione di proporre ogni settimana (in particolare la domenica), un trucchetto che aiuta a raggiungere un obiettivo, che sia vicina all’ambito della sicurezza o semplicemente a quello dell’utilità.
Il primo articolo, vuole illustrare un utile metodo per bloccare l’accesso di uno o più determinati utenti di Windows Vista ad un particolare file o cartella. Infatti, la maggior parte di noi utilizza il nostro computer in un ambiente condiviso con familiari, amici etc. ed in questi “rapporti” la privacy può venir meno.
Questo trucco, sfrutta una buona opzione introdotta con il tanto discusso sistema operativo di Microsoft denominato Vista, mantenuta comunque anche nel sempre più imminente Windows 7 e consente di impostare alcune autorizzazioni in modo che si possa effettivamente limitare l’accesso a determinate cartelle che non si trovano necessariamente nella nostra cartella Documenti, Immagini etc.
La procedura è davvero semplice e rapida, descritta in 5 passi qui di seguito:
- Fare click con il tasto destro sulla cartella prescelta e scegliere “Proprietà”;
- Selezionare la scheda “Protezione” presente fra le tab presenti nella finestra appena comparsa, quindi fare click sul pulsante “Modifica…”;
- Premere il pulsante “Aggiungi…” e scrivere nell’apposita casella di testo gli utenti o gruppi ai quali bloccare l’accesso alla cartella dalla finestra “Seleziona Utenti o Gruppi” (usare l’opzione “Controlla nomi” per convalidare il nome);
- A questo punto, sarà possibile notare il nuovo utente/gruppo nella lista in alto: selezionare il medesimo e spuntare la casella “Nega” presente nella stessa linea dell’opzione “Controllo Completo”, tramite il quale è possibile negare completamente tutti i possibili diritti che l’utente aveva sulla cartella;
- Dare le dovute conferme allo UAC del sistema;
Finito! In questo modo l’utente o il gruppo non potrà leggere né tantomeno modificare in qualunque modo la cartella in questione.
