Firefox: come risolvere l’errore dell’hash non valido

Uno dei messaggi più irritanti che un utente di Firefox può trovare di fronte a sé nello svolgimento del suo lavoro quotidiano è, senza ombra di dubbio, quello che annuncia il fallimento dell’installazione di un componente aggiuntivi a causa di un “Hash del file non valido“.

Ebbene, cari amici, preparatevi a dirgli addio. Stiamo infatti per vedere insieme come risolvere l’errore dell’hash non valido in Firefox. In un modo o nell’altro ci riusciremo, quindi rimbocchiamoci le maniche ed iniziamo subito a lavorare!

  1. Ripulire la cache: recarsi nel menu “Strumenti > Opzioni… > Avanzate > Rete” e cliccare sul pulsante “Svuota adesso” che si trova nel riquadro situato sotto la voce “Memorizzazione dati non in linea“.


  2. Abilitare momentaneamente i cookie di terze parti: se per motivi di privacy avete disabilitato l’installazione dei cookie di terze oarti, riabilitandoli momentaneamente potreste risolvere il problema. Per farlo dovete recarvi nel menu “Strumenti > Opzioni… > Privacy” e mettere il segno di spunta accanto alla voce “Accetta i cookie di terze parti“.
  3. Cancellare file: per ovviare al problema dell’hash non valido, potreste provare a cancellare (dopo averne fatto una copia di sicurezza) i seguenti file:
    • C:\Documents and Settings\[User Name]\Dati Applicazioni\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\extensions.ini (XP)
    • C:\Documents and Settings\[User Name]\Dati Applicazioni\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\extensions.cache (XP)
    • C:\Documents and Settings\[User Name]\Dati Applicazioni\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\extensions.rdf (XP)
    • C:\users\[User Name]\AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\extensions.ini (Vista)
    • C:\users\[User Name]\AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\extensions.cache (Vista)
    • C:\users\[User Name]\AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\extensions.rdf (Vista)
  4. Installare le estensioni manualmente o da altri siti: se le altre soluzioni non sono andate a buon fine, potete provare a scaricare le estensioni con un altro browser, trascinare i file “xpi” nella finestra principale di Firefox ed installarle. Altrimenti, se il componente aggiuntivo che v’interessa è disponibili anche su siti diversi da “addons.mozilla.org“, potete provare ad installarli attraverso questi ultimi.
  5. Disabilitare momentaneamente software per la sicurezza: in casi estremi, se proprio non riuscite ad ovviare a questo problema, potete provare ad installare le estensioni disabilitando momentaneamente antivirus ed antispyware eventualmente funzionanti in background.
