About 0.49a:
If we would name our versions instead of giving them plain version numbers, the name of 0.49a series would be something like “Kad Love”. Well probably not, because it sounds stupid, but I hope you get the idea : eMule 0.49a concentrates on improving Kad making it more stable, reliable and future proof. Of course other areas got some attention too:
The mainfeatures of this version are
• Major Kad protocol improvements, like kad obfuscation, better NAT handling, direct callbacks, flood protections, etc.
• Several changes to the message system to get rid of spammers (by Captchas) and stay in touch with friends with dynamic IPs
• Several GUI improvements like storing searches between eMule sessions, a searchfilter for shared files and easier access to the comment filter
• And as always fixing bugs and adding other small changes
Inoltre, sono disponibili per il download: l’installer che pesa circa 3 MB; il Source Code, poiché come ben sapete, eMule è un software Open Source (a codice aperto); e il file Binary.

Ma scusa…prima dici che ci sono molti cambiamenti, e poi dici che non sono poi molti!? o.O

forse (sparo a caso) intendeva dire che in questa beta i cambiamenti sono pochi, ma ne verranno fatti molti nelle prossime beta
O forse, come dice la frase “Come potete vedere, I cambiamenti non sono molti in questa prima beta, anche se molto significativi.”, i pochi cambiamenti sono molto importanti !

Quello è il post del forum ufficiale, le novità che ho elencato, rispecchiano quelle descritte dal forum
a questa ultima versione di emule manca totalmente l’estetica!!!
